Suzanne Francis Subler

Suzanne Francis Subler, 91, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Ayden Healthcare of Greenville.

She was born on August 8, 1930, in Rose Hill, Ohio, (adopted by) to the late George and Sara (Fry) Smith.

In addition to her parents, Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, George Subler, whom she married on October 15, 1949; and her brothers, Bob Miller and Russ Wherley.

Suzanne lived a long and blessed life. She was a caring mother and loving grandmother. She understood the importance of hard work and practiced what she preached. She worked at Big N and later for K-Mart as a sales manager in their shoe departments. Throughout her life she had several pets, but her last cat, Boots, she loved more than any other.

Suzanne is survived by her two sons, Tony (Cathy) Subler of Portland, Indiana, and Tab Subler of Greenville; 2 grandchildren, Lisa (Chris) Couch of Celina, Ohio, and Lori Miller of Winchester, Indiana; and her 5 great grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of her family.
