Terry "Butch" Thomas

Terry "Butch" Thomas, 71, of Englewood and formerly of New Madison, passed away at his residence on September 9, 2011. Butch was born on August 12, 1940 to Charlotte Thomas.
Butch spent his life training and driving harness horses and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Loreene "Kitch" Thomas, four children, Terri (Doug) West, Dale (April) Thomas, Tammy (Tom) Hart and Denise (Todd) Pentecost; six grandchildren, J.D. West, Lane Hart, Heath West, Wesly Hart, Kathleene Thomas, and Mazzy Pentecost; two sisters, Betty (Don) Faulder and Carol (Gary) Frick and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, Butch is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara (Joe) Wegerzyn and a brother, Thomas Bolin.
Celebration of Life service will be held the Life Center in Darke County at the fairgrounds on Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 5 - 8 PM with services starting at 7:15 PM. Donations may be given to Hospice of Dayton, Darke County Harness Association or Ft. Jefferson Church Building Fund.
