Theodore C. "Ted"

Theodore C. "Ted" Armstrong, of Louisville, KY passed away early Monday morning, December 17 at Baptist Hospital Northeast Hospice Care. Having been recruited by Firestone Tire and Rubber Company while attending Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio some 54 years ago, he remained in the tire industry until October of this year. Ted is survived by his wife of twenty five years, Karen O. (Seibel) Armstrong; sons, Greg and Jeff Armstrong; granddaughter Morgan Armstrong; children Suzanne Ciotti, Michelle D'Antuono, Jeff Henderson and Kim Rudnick and their spouses; and grandchildren; Dylan Ciotti, Jordan Jarboe, Josh Townsend, Adam and Jessica Henderson, Nicole (James) Thorpe, Samantha and Alysia Rudnick. Also survivng is Linda Wray, mother of his sons and his brother Jack (Betty) Armstrong. He was preceded in death by his parents Alma W. (Ott) and William A. Armstrong. Graveside services will be held at the Abbottsville Cemetery, Thursday, December 20 at 2 p.m. Friends may call at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville Thursday from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville, Hospice at Baptist NE LaGrange, PO Box 35425, Louisville, KY 40232-9892.
