Valerie S. (Locke)

Valerie S. (Locke) Waldon, 45, of Greenville, passed away Monday morning, December 28, 2009 at Heartland of Greenville. She was born in Greenville, the daughter of Ralph E. and Velma L. (Baxter) Locke of Greenville. In addition to her parents, Valerie is survived by her son, Jordon Tedore; daughter, Morgan (Kyle) Mitchell all of Greenville; grandchildren, Lilian Tedore, Skyler Ginter, Hannah and Savannah Mitchell; sisters, Kathy (Bob) Brandon of Greenville and Joy Wilkinson of Indiana; aunts, Shirley Oliver, Carolyn Thompson and Goldie Hutchinson; and a very special friend, Karl Beck. Services will be held Thursday, December 31 at 11 a.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the State of the Heart Hospice.
