Virginia A. Henderson, 82, of Ansonia, passed away early Friday morning, March 7 at Wayne Hospital in Greenville. She was born in Darke County, daughter of the late Richard and Ruth C. (Hinders) Klosterman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George H. Henderson on March 5, 2002; and five brothers, Clyde, Thomas, Virgil, Jerry and Bob Klosterman. Virginia was a graduate of Jackson High School. She had worked at Corning Glass in Greenville and retired from Lambert's in Ansonia. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville, American Legion Auxiliary in Ansonia, and the Greenville Women's F.O. E. Auxiliary. She is survived by her children, Carol and Charles Baughman of Ansonia, Gary and Vicky Henderson of Ansonia, and Rick Henderson of West Milton and grandchildren, Eric (Lisa) Bickel, Corey Bickel, Lisa (Tom) Rindler, David (Laura) Henderson, Tammy (Mark) Stookey and Travis (Heather) Henderson; great grandchildren, Chase and Parker Bickel, Tyler Schmaus, Jared, Adam, and Jason Rindler, Taylor and Madison Stookey, Alyssa and Emma Henderson; brothers and sisters, Norman "Bud" Klosterman, Don Klosterman, Joan Pence all of Greenville and Marlyn Forshee of Muncie, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, March 11, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville with the Rev. Fr. John White celebrating. Burial will follow in the Ansonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville, Monday , March 10, from 5-8 p.m. with prayers being offered at 4:45 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Cancer Association of Darke County.
