Walter Jackson Stewart Sr., age 75, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, August 9, 2021, at EverHeart Hospice in Greenville.
He was born on June 11, 1946, in Greenville, to Lorene (Hayes), of Greenville and the late Ira Stewart.
In addition to his father, Walter is preceded in death by his wives, Judy Stewart and Pat Stewart; and his sons Jack and Kenneth Stewart.
Walter was 1964 graduate of Ansonia High School. He enjoyed music and, in the past, played bass for the local group "Shock".
In addition to his mother, Walter is survived by his sons, Dion (Cassandra) Stewart of Portland, Indiana, Dallas (Terri) Stewart of Celina, Ohio, and Chris (Allison) Stewart of Versailles, Ohio and his daughter-in-law, Debbie Stewart of Rossburg, Ohio; his brothers, Roger Stewart of Greenville, Otis Stewart and Jeff Stewart, both of Versailles; his grandchildren, Cole (Kristin) Stewart, Beth Stewart, Joshua (Harley) Stewart, Kelsey (Joe) Monnin, Mindy (Andy) Ooten, Ashton Stewart, John (Samantha) Stewart, Gabrielle Stewart, Hope (Clint) Morgan, Alyssa (Roger) Daetres, and Cooper and Leo Stewart; and his 10 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Walter's life will be held at 6 PM on Friday, August 13, 2021, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Steve Short officiating.
Walter's family will be receiving guests on Friday beginning at 4 PM until the time of the service.
Walter's family will have a private burial at a later date.
