Wanda L. Turner, 76, of New Madison, passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 10, 2013, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton.
She was born July 30, 1936 in Robbins, TN, the daughter of the late Alice (Beyers) and Fred Little. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Juanita and Mary Katherine; brother, Cornell; a grandson, Eddy Floyd; daughter-in-law, Deloris Houston and nephew, Rex Pearson
Wanda was retired from Sheller Globe of Union City, and Troy Sunshade of Greenville.
She is survived by her husband, Arlis Turner, whom she married May 3, 1958; 7 children, Vic (Sharon Libbee) Houston, Elizabeth Murray, Jennifer (David) Woodard, Carlene (David) Sands, Darlene (Keith) Lyme, Arlis (Jackie Whittington) Turner and Lee (Katie) Brandon; 1 sister, Gladys Sue Butler of Crossville, TN. Also survived by grandchildren, Doris (Scott) Hoffman, Monte Baird, Crimson (Scott Hollifield) Brandon, Milton (Traci Brown) Murray, Jr., Renee (Franz Wohlgemuth) Hamilton, Katie, Noah, Donovan and Josh Sands, Mitchell Stringfield, Chase Lyme, Kenny, David and Stephen Turner, Meghan, Kaley and Koby Brandon, Donald and Zackery Whittington; great-grandchildren, Tracy (Nathaniel) Harrison, Angie (John) Hamlin, Zachary Hetzler, Darrin and Keaira Hamilton, Victoria Elizabeth Murray, due July 2013 and Abigal Nicole Turner due September 2013; great-great grandchildren, Nathanial, Jr., Luke, Isaac and Kelsey.
Services will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2013, at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 p.m. till the time of service at 4 p.m.
