Wanda Eileen Roberts

Wanda Eileen Roberts, age 62 of Greenville, passed away on November 30, 2023, at her home.

She was born on April 6, 1961, in Greenville to the late Franklin Nichols and Lois Nichols.

In addition to her father, Wanda is preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Nichols.

Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Rickey Roberts, who she married on July 18, 1980; mother, Lois Nichols; daughter, Lacie (Brian) Reeser; son, Ryan (Dana) Roberts; sisters, Debbie Rader and Dawna Remencus; brothers, Tim (Karen) Nichols, Tom (Denise) Nichols, and Gary (Carol) Nichols; grandchildren, Tylee, Traeh, Tayla, Tanner, and her Brazilian granddaughter, Ana Zappa Rezende; her cat, Pixie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wanda graduated from Tri-Village High School. She was a very hard worker, she worked 38 years at Pizza Hut, 10 years at CVS, and most recently worked at the New Madison Super Market grocery store. Wanda loved shopping for her grandchildren and enjoyed couponing. Wanda was always there to lend a helping hand to anybody; she was a generous person.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, December 8, 2023, at the funeral homes with Pastor Michael Simmons officiating. Interment will follow the service at Palestine Cemetery.
