William M. "Bill" Sewell, 78, of Ansonia, OH passed away Saturday evening, April 5, 2008 at Heartland of Greenville. He was born in Baptist, KY, son of the late George and Della (Christman) Sewell. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force having served from 1952 to 1956. He was retired from Borg-Warner Automotive in Muncie, IN. In addition to working for Borg_Warner Bill had owned and operated The Sewell Company and Professional Industrial Advertising. He had served as the mayor of Ansonia and as a member of the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Shrine Club and the Shrine Jeepsters. He was an avid gardener and clock collector. He is survived by his wife, Connie M. (Watkins) Sewell whom he married August 19, 1960; children, Greg Sewell of St. Mary's, OH, Mark (LuAnn) Sewell of Greenville, OH, Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Stevens of Tennessee; two granddaughter's Kelli Sewell and Christina Stevens; and a sister, Ruby Halcomb of Campton, KY. Services will be held Thursday, April 10 at 2 p.m. at the Porter and Sons Funeral Home, 769 E. Main Street, Campton, KY. Burial will follow in the Evans Cemetery near Campton. Friends may call at the funeral home in Kentucky Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. Local arrangements are under the direction of Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville, OH.
