Wilma Jean Mangen, 82, of Greenville and formerly of Rossburg, passed away Saturday evening, March 16, 2013 at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville.
She was born August 22, 1930 in Darke County, daughter of the late Orville and Lurlene (Richter) Strait. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Joseph Lenker and second husband Roger Mangen; daughter, Janice Lenker and 2 brothers, Robert and Kenny Strait.
Jean had retired as a bus driver for Mississinawa Valley School District having driven for over 25 years and was a member of the Rossburg United Methodist Church. She attended the Pleasant Valley Church of Brethern.
She is survived by her children, Linda (John) Schroeder of Lynn, IN, Tim (Mirinda) Lenker of Etowah, TN, Carol (Steve) Hill of Fountain City, IN and Dan (Sheila) Lenker of Greenville, OH; step children, Larry Mangen of Rossburg, Gary Mangen of New Paris, David (Janel) Mangen of Versailles, Madonna (Tim) Runner of Rossburg, a sister, Betty (Gail) Teegarden of Ansonia, OH; 9 Grandchildren, Eric, Laura, Kristina, Timothy, Joey, Adam, Tonya, Sheila and Jennifer; 9 Great-grandchldren; Several Step Grandchildren and step Great-grandchildren.
Services will be held 10:30 A.M. Thursday, March 21 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in the Teegarden Cemetery near Ansonia.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 - 8 P.M.. The family request that memorial contributions be given to the charity of your choice.
